Crime scene serves as the starting point for forensic science and can generate valuable data that must bemeticulously, methodically, scientifically, lawfully gathered. If crime is not handled appropriately,it become misleading render crucial information useless, leading to an investigation on wrong path.Forensic has undergone a revolution thanks use of DNA technologies. Many times, due theinvestigator’s lack scientific expertise regarding proper collection, preservation, storage, transportationof biological evidence, investigator unable acquire accurate analysis results, which reduces valueof evidence in court. Purity, quantity, rate degradation are just few many variables thatgo into creating decent profile from sample. We highlight provide useful strategies andrecommendations assist medical, forensic, law enforcement professionals handling evidencesfor prevent contamination, deterioration, loss evidence’s value.
